For our IRONMAN business in DACCH (Germany, Austria, Croatia, Switzerland) based out of our office in Zagreb, Croatia, we are actively looking for a highly motivated, fluent English speaking
Junior Accountant (m/f/d)
Key Responsibilities
• Day-to-day accounting for our DACCH entities, including but not limited to:
o Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and processing changes in General Ledger accounts, in accordance with company accounting policies, and applicable tax regulations o Ensuring accurate posting of incoming and outgoing invoices (accounts, cost centers, VAT) o Reconciliation of customer accounts; follow-up and management of receivables and collections o Participating in the preparation of weekly payments according to the cash forecast, including reviewing and posting payment transactions o Review of travel expense reports o Collaborating with other departments to ensure synergy and process efficiency o Supporting the preparation of internal monthly reporting, including journal corrections, accruals, and account analysis
Skills and competencies
• Degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of the German and / or French language is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in accounting or auditing.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be extremely diligent about working with international colleagues at all levels and ensuring that deadlines are always met.
• Ability to manage diversity in job responsibilities with precision and accuracy in work.
• Must be hands-on, able to multi-task and show proper level of time management.
• Excellent skills in MS Office and Finance applications.
• Experience in Oracle NetSuite accounting software and Power BI is an advantage.
