Cafe Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Cafe Assistant to join the team at Solihull Platter by John Lewis!

We work within John Lewis across both the customer facing Place to Eat and the Partner Dining Room. We serve Hot Breakfasts and Lunches, Sandwiches and Good old Coffee and Cake! We have a versatile team that flex between customer facing roles, kitchen work and working in the dishwash area.

We Offer:

Rate: £12.71 per hour

Shifts: 5 days out of 7/ Mon- Fri/ Weekends Depending on business requirements

Contract:Temporary

About the Cafe Assistant role:

• Taking orders, serving food and drinks
• Ensuring the customers experience is maintained at all times to the highest standard
• Ensuring that food safety standards are followed at all times

Experience isn’t essential, as full training will be provided. However, a smile, dedication to exceeding customer expectations, and being a great team player are essential.
