    Responsibilities:

    Working with and learning from some of the leading figures in the pensions industry, you’ll help deliver innovative solutions for prestigious clients. You’ll also be supported through your actuarial exams, with a mentor and a comprehensive and flexible study support package to help you become a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

    On our programme, you’ll:

    • Focus on supporting clients with their Defined Benefit schemes, although there may be opportunities to work with other types of schemes
    • Support with everything from regular valuation work to cutting-edge risk-reduction and scheme design projects
    • Work with teams such as investment, communications and administration to provide joined-up advice
    • Build your technical and consulting skills through a mix of practical and classroom learning
    • Solve real-world actuarial problems that matter to our clients
    • Gain the skills to effectively communicate the results of your work to colleagues and clients
    • Be encouraged to identify opportunities to improve the way we work and the services we provide

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:  

    Joining us as a trainee consultant, you’ll enjoy plenty of exposure to technical challenges, our experts and fascinating clients. You’ll also be supported to become a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. This will include:

    • Helping to solve real-world technical problems with a meaningful impact
    • A market-leading, flexible study support package, study leave and mentor to help you gain the recognised and all-important Actuarial Qualification
    • Exam entry fees and membership fees of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries
    • Having the autonomy to manage your own workload
    • Sharing and presenting your work back to colleagues and clients
    • Being encouraged to innovate and improve what we do and how we do it
    • Gaining a wide range of on-the-job experience
    • Developing technical and consulting skills through a full induction and ongoing learning opportunities

    Qualifications

    Requirements:  

    To transform your tomorrow as a trainee consultant, you’ll need:

    • 2:1 degree in a numerate discipline or 2:1 in a non-numerate discipline
    • To be ready to learn and contribute
    • A good head for numbers
    • Excellent communication skills
    • To be excited by solving challenging technical problems
