The Group Desk Coordinator specializes in Convention groups, acting as a liaison between the Hotel and Sales Department at Wynn|Encore. This includes providing support with group reservations, group contacts, group master accounts, group billing, special requests, room assignments, distribution of keys, attending Pre-Convention meetings and answering questions pertaining to groups.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with Convention Services Managers and Convention Desk to ensure all appropriate information is communicated to the Front Office in a timely manner to prepare for and execute group arrivals and departures.
- Review group resumes and ensure that all contractual concessions are upheld during the group’s program.
- Compile requested daily reports for in-house groups.
- Maintain all master accounts while Convention groups are in-house by completing necessary billing revisions.
- Attend Pre-Convention meetings to review details for all up-coming Convention groups.
- Interact positively with guests and on-site contacts while promoting hotel facilities and services.
- Working in a team-oriented environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the Group Desk area.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of customer service experience
- Minimum of two years Guest Services and/or Front Desk experience at a luxury resort
- Knowledge of hotel property management system (Opera) preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office
