x1 helps people turn a rough idea into a real iPhone app. We guide them through planning, designing, building, testing on a phone, and publishing to the App Store. We’re looking for someone who can turn Google and Meta ads into a reliable source of paying customers. What you'll do
- Own paid acquisition across Google Ads and Meta Ads, from campaign setup to daily optimization.
- Find the searches, audiences, offers, and creative angles that bring in people who actually build and pay, not just cheap clicks or signups.
- Work with the founder, designer, and creative team on ad concepts, landing pages, and onboarding tests.
- Keep conversion tracking and attribution trustworthy. Check what happens from ad click to signup to purchase, and call out gaps in the data.
- Run clear experiments, report spend, conversion volume, and paying-customer CPA, then scale what works. Who you are
- You have personally run meaningful campaigns on both Google and Meta and can explain what you changed, why, and what happened.
- You know how to build and test search campaigns, paid social campaigns, creative, audiences, bidding, and landing pages.
- You can diagnose tracking problems and work with engineers on pixels, conversion events, and server-side signals.
- You care about revenue and customer quality more than platform-reported ROAS. You can tell when attribution is uncertain.
- You move quickly, write clearly, and are comfortable owning the channel directly. Agency experience is welcome if you were the hands-on operator.

For each, share the goal, your role, approximate spend, conversion volume, paying-customer CPA or CAC, what you changed, and the result. Anonymized numbers are fine. Include one ad or landing page you improved and what you would test first for x1. Skip the generic cover letter. Full-time.
