    Overview:

    The Senior Accounts Payable Operations Manager provides senior-level leadership and operational oversight for Accounts Payable activities. The role leads AP teams to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient operations while maintaining service quality, process compliance, and performance. This position oversees day-to-day operations, drives process improvements, resolves operational issues, and partners with internal stakeholders to meet business requirements and service expectations.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Provide overall leadership and operational oversight for Accounts Payable activities, including team priorities, performance, productivity, quality, and service levels.
    • Lead, coach, and develop AP teams while supporting recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, coaching, and performance management activities.
    • Oversee AP processes to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely completion while maintaining compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls.
    • Resolve escalations and operational issues, identify process gaps, and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams and management to provide operational insights, address risks, improve service delivery, and support business reviews.

    What You Need to Succeed:

    • At least 10 years of managerial experience required.
    • Accounts Payable experience required, with experience in a BPO, Shared Services, or GBS environment preferred.
    • Experience managing first-line managers or other people leaders preferred, with a background in Accounting or Finance preferred.
    • Strong leadership, coaching, people-management, communication, stakeholder-management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Strong understanding of AP operations, process improvement, operational efficiency, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and enterprise business systems.
