You will take responsibility within an interdisciplinary team of highly qualified Software Engineers, UI/UX Experts, Agile Coaches, and Product Owners, working on high-quality software solutions.
Together with your team, you will conceptualize complex and versatile software projects and implement them in collaboration with our customers.
You will practice agile software development with us through daily scrums, client reviews, and retrospectives, supported by our Agile Coaches.
You will design sustainable software architectures together with your team and implement them iteratively and incrementally.
You will use DevOps methods to quickly deliver value to end users and gather feedback.
You will implement new and stable technologies where appropriate.
You will work self-organized within your project team, take on responsibility, and actively help shape XITASO.

Educational Background: You have a university degree in computer science or a related field.
Leadership & Ownership: You have approximately 5 years of practical experience in software development and take responsibility for the successful implementation of challenging software projects. Depending on the project context, you contribute your expertise in areas such as backend, frontend, DevOps, or AI engineering.
Communication: You have excellent Spanish and English skills (at least C1 level) and can explain complex technical topics in a way that’s tailored to your audience - both within the team and to customers and partners.
Collaboration: You see collaboration as a key factor in creating excellent software. You actively share your knowledge and are able to translate different perspectives into viable solutions.
AI for Software Engineering: You use modern technologies and tools thoughtfully. In particular, you have experience in the field of AI for Software Engineering and use AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, OpenCode, or GitHub Copilot responsibly to make software development more efficient and effective.
Architecture & System Thinking: You enjoy working on challenging architectural problems and actively contribute your perspective to discussions on architecture, software design, and technical solutions. You take a holistic approach to software and can evaluate technical decisions in the context of architecture, maintainability, operations, and costs.
Code Unterstanding: You have a strong understanding of high-quality code. You quickly familiarize yourself with existing codebases, grasp interdependencies, and critically evaluate code generated by both humans and AI systems.
Growth Mindset: You approach change with openness and curiosity. You see new technologies, methods, or areas of responsibility as opportunities to learn and grow. You’re willing to step outside your comfort zone.

Within our standardized and transparent salary framework, the gross annual salary of the position ranges from EUR 45,000 – 63,000 and is based on various factors such as qualifications and experience.
