Xona is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to work as a contributor to the development and integration of a desktop application to interact with our in-house satellite receivers and to write application code for our satellite subsystem components.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced start-up environments, and can confidently work independently and collaboratively to deliver mission-critical insights.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with C and Python coding languages

• Experience with hardware communication system protocols such as RS-485, UART, I2C, CAN, SPI, and ethernet TCP/IP Strong experience with PyQt / PySide (or Qt-based GUI development)

• Experience with hands-on testing and prototyping (dev kits, logic analyzers, decoding bitstreams)

• Experience Software architecting & Embedded development & Bash scripting

• Experience with RTOS

• Background in Control systems and/or motor control

• Experience as a team lead/manager

Xona est à la recherche d’un(e) ingénieur(e) logiciel qualifié(e) qui contribuera au développement et à l’intégration d’une application de bureau permettant d’interagir avec nos récepteurs satellitaires développés à l’interne.

La personne retenue participera également au développement du code applicatif destiné aux composants de nos sous-systèmes satellitaires. La personne idéale s’épanouit dans l’environnement dynamique d’une entreprise en démarrage et est en mesure de travailler avec assurance, tant de façon autonome qu’en collaboration avec les autres membres de l’équipe, afin de fournir des solutions et des renseignements essentiels à la mission.

Qualifications requises

• Expérience en programmation avec les langages C et Python.

• Expérience avec des protocoles et interfaces de communication matérielle, notamment RS-485, UART, I2C, CAN, SPI et Ethernet TCP/IP.

• Solide expérience avec PyQt / PySide ou dans le développement d’interfaces graphiques basées sur Qt.

• Expérience pratique en matière d’essais et de prototypage, notamment avec des trousses de développement, des analyseurs logiques et le décodage de flux binaires.

• Expérience en architecture logicielle, en développement de systèmes embarqués et en création de scripts Bash.

• Expérience avec des systèmes d’exploitation en temps réel (RTOS).

• Connaissances ou expérience en systèmes de commande et/ou en commande de moteurs.
