Responsibilities:
- Daily update of the accounting records for the group of Companies.
- Verify the accuracy of data and data processing of accounting and bookkeeping-related information.
- Execute and record payment/bank transactions and ensuring they are accurately reflected in the accounting records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and principles.
- Maintain good communication with both internal and external parties.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in accounting.
- Previous experience in the Financial, Banking or FX industry will be considered as an advantage.
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of SAP accounting software will be considered as an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Team member with the ability to cooperate with multiple parties.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues and resolve them effectively.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and tight deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Legally authorized to work in Cyprus (CY or EU nationals).
