Position Summary:
- Use the principles and theories of science, engineering, and mathematics to solve technical problems in research and development, manufacturing, inspection, and maintenance

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Line balance, W.I., S.O.P., material flow, operator training, C.T. study/analysis
- Works closely with all process engineer operations personnel to provide process documentation, process training, shop floor support and work on kaizen improvements
- Main area of focus will be process documentation and training to reduce costs and improve
- Design and Documentation (75% of time)
- Lead line balance development
- Develop work instructions process
- Lead/Assist with process design reviews
- Lead/Assist with fixture design reviews
- Other activities as needed to insure operational success
- Training (15% of time)
- Training of operation personnel to assure process compliance
- Participate in meetings/training/benchmarking
- Develop presentations as needed
- Process Improvements (10% of time)
- Help identify and implement cost down opportunities (material, labor, quality)
- Help identify and implement equipment improvements (cycle time, uptime)
- Help with downtime reduction activities (AM/PM schedule, machine modifications)
- Help with scrap reduction activities (continuous top 3 defect focus)
Qualifications
Education / Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in assembly operation line balance generating
Other Required Skills:
- Demonstrated application of engineering skills and problem solving techniques
- Working knowledge of YMMC production systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with applied experience working in a team environment
Preferred Skills:
- 5 years technical experience of documentation and process development preferred
