Position Summary:
- Responsible for direct supervision of Maintenance Technicians supporting various fabrication and assembly departments.
- Responsible for oversight and repair of Electrical and mechanical systems and equipment to include hydraulic, pneumatic, steam and electrical
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize and direct Maintenance Dept personnel activities.
- Proactively manage related expenditures and labor costs.
- Prepare and manage projects and other improvement activities.
- Proactively support the needs, goals, and targets of the other departments at YMMC.
- Direct daily supervision of Maintenance Dept personnel.
- Planning and coordination of activities of Maintenance personnel related to:
- Work Order scheduling and completion
- Planned and Autonomous Maintenance
- Project Team Activities
- Continuous Improvement activities (using root cause analysis w/zero base loss targets)
- Training and 5S (maintenance and improvement)
Qualifications
Education / Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED. 5-10 years experience in areas listed above
Other Required Skills:
- Computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project)
Preferred Skills:
- Technical School training in related fields desired
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
