What You Will Be Doing:
As the Industrial Electrician you will perform fundamental electrical installs for industrial packaging on a daily basis. You will also perform all duties related to industrial packaging for backup power.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of basic electrical installation
- Wiring AC & DC lights, 3-way switches, GFCI receptacles, Load Center
- Bending and sizing of conduit, sizing of wire
- Interpret current NEC codes
- Interpret shop drawings
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
- Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Who We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position you should have prior experience as an electrician in either the commercial or residential field. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.
Education/Experience:
- Specific industry experienced desired or an equivalent college degree
- State certification is preferred
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- 3 years minimum experience as an electrician apprentice or journeyman as either a commercial or residential electrician.
- Ability to read a tape measure and compute basic math.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- A two year undergraduate degree from an accredited college preferred
