Yaxle builds AI agents to automate auto parts procurement for repair facilities across North America. We drive more than 5x ROI to repairers by enabling faster and more profitable transactions. This is more than a $125B+ opportunity.
We’re looking for someone who wants to dive deep into our problem space. You don’t have to love cars, but you do need to be fascinated by an industry that has remained largely unchanged for decades. You’ll work hand in hand with the founders, engineering team, and customers to turn operational challenges into scalable solutions, and move fast while doing it.
Partner closely with customers: Work with existing and prospective customers who want to transform their parts operations. Processes vary by insurance carrier, market, OEM, and repair facility, so you’ll need to understand each customer’s workflows in detail and identify where Yaxle can deliver the most value.
Turn requests into scalable solutions: Take customer needs from initial discovery through implementation. If a process takes 30 minutes and can be automated, we want to automate it, but at the same time, not every request should become a product feature. You’ll distinguish one-off needs from improvements that benefit the broader platform.
Own operational complexity: Help manage the workflows, configurations, and changes required to support hundreds of shops. You’ll keep details organized, weigh tradeoffs, and make sound decisions with incomplete information.
Build systems and processes: Create the playbooks, tools, and internal workflows that allow Yaxle to scale without sacrificing speed or customer experience.
Drive measurable impact: Help make Yaxle the leading procurement platform for auto parts. You’ll be expected to learn quickly, tackle problems outside your prior experience, and outperform entrenched software incumbents.
Professional experience: You have at least two years of experience in a professional environment. Experience at an early-stage startup is a plus.
Exceptional ownership: You take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks. You identify what needs to happen, make decisions, and follow through.
Bias toward action: You thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment and want to do the best work of your career.
Comfort with ambiguity: You run toward unanswered questions, learn quickly, and create clarity where little structure exists.
Customer orientation: You enjoy speaking with customers, understanding their workflows, and solving problems that materially improve their businesses.
Systems thinking: You can move between the details of an individual customer issue and the broader systems required to support the entire platform.
Technical curiosity: You’re eager to use tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Linear, Pylon, and Notion to move as fast as possible.
Mission alignment: You’re excited to transform an industry that has been underserved by technology and to build for the people who keep repair shops running.
High intensity: This is not a traditional 9-to-5 role. We work in person, move quickly, and are deeply committed to building Yaxle.
We’re solving a complex problem in a broken $125B+ supply chain.
We have a clear path to becoming a major player, with multiple areas for expansion. We literally cannot build fast enough to keep up with customer demand and scale into other parts of the industry’s value chain.
You’ll earn early-stage equity in a business that has scaled a sticky product at lightning speed. This is a significantly de-risked early startup in execution mode. We need to get shit done.
We’re in the sweet spot for AI companies. This is not an obvious problem space, and our solution was impossible without the LLM improvements of the past few years. Our revenue is very sticky because of this.
We’ve developed significant trust and goodwill with our customers and pilots by shipping workflow automations quickly and being transparent about their shortcomings and timelines. We take no shortcuts and are building a long-term product.
We can’t emphasize enough how critical this product is for repairers. Parts are the largest aspect of their business that is directly within their control, and they trust us to manage the entire process.
We care deeply about doing right by the shops. It doesn’t matter whether they own 50 stores or one, we pick up the phone immediately.
We’re well funded by respected institutional VCs.
You love lots of structure and want to be closely managed.
You aren’t ready to put in the hard work of taking something from 1 to 10.
You don’t get excited about serving our customers or find this problem space interesting.
You hate the idea of talking to a customer.
