As a seasoned professional you have the unique opportunity to partner with BPS (Boston Public Schools) to ensure Boston-based UPK programs are exceeding the standards to create a quality Preschool and Prekindergarten experience for children before they transition to the public school system.     As the Curriculum and Quality Coach you will...
    • Oversee multiple sites, providing mentoring and coaching in various communities within the Greater Boston area.
    • Ensure implementation of the YMCA and UPK educational practices including curriculum, inclusive and anti-bias education, and instructional practices.
    • Provide resources, support, guidance, performance coaching, modeling, training, observation, and feedback to teachers.
    • Use education quality tools to assess program and curriculum implementation.
    • Work closely with the designated BPS Universal PreK Coach to ensure classrooms are meeting and exceeding program expectations.
    As the Curriculum and Quality Coach you should have...
    • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field.
    • At least three years of leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience (required).
    • Experience in a high-quality program required, experience working in a NAEYC-accredited center (strongly preferred).
