Day Camp Counselor - Clippard Family YMCA

Key Responsibilities: 

• Dive into the excitement and supervise our amazing campers.
• Plan and lead activities that are cooler than a polar bear in sunglasses.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings—because knowledge is power! 
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
• Follow YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergencies. 
• Maintain positive relationships with parents and staff. 
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

• Must be 18 and over. 
• High School Diploma or equivalent (it's the thought that counts) where applicable.
• Experience with kids, preferably in a day camp setting.
• Current First Aid and CPR-Child certifications (superhero training included) must be maintained throughout employment
• Completed YMCA Child Abuse Prevention training upon hire

• Must be at least 18 years of age, with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet all licensing requirements as determined by state & local governments.
• Previous experience working with children is preferred.
• CPR & First Aid certifications must be obtained/maintained throughout employment.
