Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Instruct swim lessons as assigned in accordance with YMCA guidelines, having prepared lesson plans accordingly.
Develop positive relationships with participants while providing motivational support & guidance.
Encourage member & parent involvement.
Convey basic program & schedule information as necessary.
Maintain progress reports & attendance records as required.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years of age.
CPR, First Aid & AED certifications must be maintained throughout employment.
YMCA Swim Instructor or equivalent certification preferred.
Demonstrated ability to instruct participants on swimming skills & stroke techniques.
