- Preparation and revision of design layout and technical drawings for municipal water and wastewater projects
- Provide leadership and mentoring to junior level CADD drafters
- Regular collaboration with engineering project managers other design disciplines and engineering teams
- Following corporate drafting and quality assurance standards
his position will temporarily be out of our Cazenovia, NY office as we will be moving to our new office location in East Syracuse, NY during the Winter/Spring of 2020.

- Associate’s degree in a Design/Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology or appropriate experience
- 15-25 years of experience drafting and designing water/wastewater treatment systems, pumps, piping and other process mechanical systems
- Strong technical skills using AutoCAD
- Experience working with 3D piping design software is beneficial but not required (i.e. Plant 3D)
- Basic understanding of wastewater treatment process equipment, process tanks, process buildings and piping systems will be useful in this position
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both within a team and independently
- Self-starter and willing and able to work on a variety of tasks with minimal supervision
