    Qualifications

    • 23 years of age or older. 
    • BA/BS or equivalent professional and community leadership experience. 
    • 2+ years of experience working with opportunity youth, family support services, or community agencies. 
    • Knowledge of San Francisco communities, particularly the Fillmore/Western Addition, and the barriers youth face related to academic success and personal development. 
    • Availability Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional evenings. 
    • Understanding of juvenile court systems and/or Special Education practices. 
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and basic computer systems. 
    • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills. 
    • Experience in group work, supervision, administration, or community collaboration. 
    • Ability to manage and resolve youth conflicts using restorative justice principles. 
    • YMCA approved CPR and First Aid Certification (may be completed upon hire). 
    • TB clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field. 
    • Certification in de-escalation practices. 
    • Experience working in the Fillmore/Western Addition community or with local partner agencies. 
    • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish, Tagalog, or other languages). 
    • Experience in training, group facilitation, or strategic planning. 
    • Case management credential.
