Qualifications
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Bachelor’s degree in recreation, social services, education, public health, nonprofit management, or related field or equivalent professional and community experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in program management, community engagement, or nonprofit administration, including at least 2 years supervising staff and/or volunteers.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience creating and implementing effective outreach plans.
• Experience managing grants or public funding, including contract compliance and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multicultural communities and with historically marginalized populations.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple partnerships, projects, and supervisees simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
• Availability Tuesday–Saturday, with flexibility for evenings; this is an in-person role.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish, Cantonese, or Japanese.
• Experience in public health, social services, aging services, nonprofit community organizing, or related fields.
• Prior experience managing programs funded by City and County of San Francisco agencies.
• Knowledge of Western Addition/Japantown history, culture, and current community landscape.
