Automotive Technician

#1 Cochran Chevrolet in Boardman is looking to add to our team of Certified Service Technicians! Conveniently located on Market Street, we are looking for experienced flat rate technicians to join our current service professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

Qualifications

• We hire professionals with previous automotive service experience, but we LOVE to train and develop new technicians
• ASE certifications are ideal
• Strong automotive background with experience working flat-rate
• Strong teamwork skills
• Candidate should have tools necessary for the duties of the position
