Project Manager

Go Green is seeking an organized problem solver who can implement, mentor, and guide all aspects of project management within the BC region to fill the role of Project Manager. As a Project Manager at Go Green, you will be a crucial contributor towards Go Green's success by overseeing all aspects of project management for jobs within the BC region. Project Management responsibilities include but are not limited to safe project delivery, done right the first time on schedule and on budget. Mentoring aspiring project managers and coordinators on best practices, customer relations management and company expectations while embodying Go Green corporate values of Our People, Our Promise, Our Passion. You will report to the Regional Vice President and be accountable for the following:

• Responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of projects while remaining aligned with the strategy and goals of Go Green.

• Support and promote Go Green’ culture, values, and business strategy. • Oversee and direct all day-to-day project initiatives.

• Project performance for safety, quality, and cost efficiency

A successful candidate would be an individual who:

● Undergraduate degree or Technical School certification (including Trade Certification) in appropriate discipline or equivalent.

● 10+ years of progressive experience in Heavy Industry Turnaround Maintenance, Daily PM Maintenance and Project Management.

● 5-10 years of related field construction experience.

● Project Management Certificate would be an asset.

● Experience in project management, project controls, budgeting/financing, critical path thinking, risk management & assessment, negotiating, planning, cost estimating, cost/benefit analysis, scheduling, and planning.

● Familiarity with HS&E and quality control legislation, requirements and systems used.

● Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.

● Excellent interpersonal communication with teams across the organization.

● Exceptional interpersonal skills reflecting the ability to inspire teamwork, confidence and cooperation amongst all stakeholders and partners coupled with collaborative consensus-building competencies.

● Proven ability to focus on long-term strategic growth goals while managing short-term tactical objectives.
