Senior Product Manager, YouTube Cyber Security and Platform Integrity

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
• 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
• 1 year of experience in cybersecurity, application security, vulnerability management, or security infrastructure.
• 1 year of experience working with AI/LLM-based systems, automated code analysis, or developer productivity workflows.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience partnering closely with security engineering and security operations stakeholders.
• Experience preparing and delivering executive-level risk assessments, security roadmaps, and governance updates to senior leadership.
• Experience designing automated security solutions, large-scale vulnerability triage systems, automated patching workflows, or third-party/open-source risk management tools.
• Experience as a software developer or security engineer.

As the Product Manager for Cybersecurity and Platform Integrity at YouTube, you will define and lead the product strategy that protects YouTube’s massive microservices ecosystem, developer workflows, and platform infrastructure. Partnering closely with YouTube Security Engineering and Google’s Central Security teams, you will evolve how YouTube detects, prioritizes, and remediates vulnerabilities at scale. You will pioneer AI-driven vulnerability triage and automated code remediation, establish third-party and open-source risk frameworks, and drive executive cybersecurity governance, enabling thousands of YouTube engineers to build and ship secure software.

Responsibilities

• Define YouTube’s security product strategy and roadmap in partnership with YouTube Security Engineering and Google’s central security teams.
• Improve how we detect, validate, and prioritize vulnerabilities across YouTube’s codebase and external APIs, filtering out noise so teams focus on real risks.
• Build AI-powered tools that automatically fix common classes of security and code-health bugs at scale, partnering with YouTube engineering teams to resolve issues quickly and meet service level objectives.
• Define how YouTube evaluates and manages risk across third-party and open-source dependencies. 
• Track security health and remediation goals, and lead regular security reviews with YouTube leadership to align on top risks and priorities.
