Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products through comprehensive testing practices. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in manual and automation testing, API validation, defect management, and Agile methodologies. The role requires close collaboration with development, business, and product teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Perform API testing and backend validation.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Validate production releases and support deployment activities.
- Prepare test execution reports, quality metrics, and status dashboards.
- Continuously improve testing processes and automation coverage.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Engineering.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools.
- Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- ISTQB Certification is an added advantage.
- Experience in Retail, E-Commerce, Banking, or Supply Chain domains.
