Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and company standards.
- Conduct and review risk assessments related to workplace hazards, including machinery, chemicals, ergonomics, fire safety, and personal protective equipment.
- Participate in change management activities for new equipment, processes, and technologies to ensure EHS requirements are considered.
- Perform regular workplace inspections and document findings.
- Coordinate and support internal and external EHS audits and follow up on corrective actions.
- Organize and deliver EHS training programs and monitor training effectiveness.
- Prepare EHS reports, KPIs, and management presentations.
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs and initiatives.
- Maintain EHS documentation, procedures, and records.
- Act as a key contact for regulatory authorities, contractors, insurance representatives, and the global EHS organization.
- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Monitor EHS performance and recommend improvement actions to achieve company objectives.
- Conducting cross-audits and collaborating with the other Hungarian plant.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Experience with risk assessments, audits, and incident prevention activities.
- Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Working proficiency in both English and Hungarian.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Internal Auditor qualification.
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of sustainability, energy management, or environmental management systems.
