Position Summary:

Production Supervisor I–Gen is responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations of the plant’s assembly process.
What you can look forward to as a Production Supervisor:
•    Supervise and support up to 100 unionized employees on the production floor
•    Coordinate daily manufacturing activities to meet production targets and deadlines
•    Lead shift-start meetings focused on safety, quality, and delivery
•    Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while coordinating with maintenance as needed
•    Enforce company policies, safety standards, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
•    Manage scheduling, timekeeping (Kronos), and workforce planning, including TPTs in collaboration with the Union
•    Promote a positive team environment through coaching, mentoring, and performance management (including discipline when required)
•    Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
•    Document employee relations matters and escalate workplace concerns as appropriate

Your Profile as a Production Supervisor:
•    Post-secondary education in a related field
•    Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (unionized experience preferred)
•    Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
•    Experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office and workforce scheduling systems
•    Ability to work all shifts and weekends as required
•    Must be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship now or in the future.

•    Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
•    Strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
•    Ability to lift up to 15 kg and stand/sit for extended periods
