As a member of a dynamic development team, the Layout Designer will be responsible for the layout of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for carrier-grade Optical Transport, Optical Line Terminals (OLTs) and Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) What You’ll Do Work together with hardware engineers, software engineers and manufacturing to ensure PCB is designed for testability and manufacturability Interpret schematics in the process of placing components and routing the PCB Route traces and planes to achieve the design specifications and performance parameters Design rule checking Manage layout footprint library Create manufacturing outputs to be sent to PCB vendor for fabrication
