R2R Associate in Treasury Team (m/f/x) - temporary

This position will report to the R2R Team Leader and will support the execution of General Accounting activities related to Treasury accounts

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for executing Cash Accounting and Treasury related activities on a daily basis.

• Oversee and support General Ledger (GL) journal entries postings, GL, cash and loan accounts review, maintenance and analysis, GL master data change requests, reconciliations, foreign exchange adjustments and corporate required accounting.

• Coordinate and support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities including completion of sub-ledger postings, control the progress on clearing bank transactions, bank account reconciliations, sub-ledger lockdown, posting to GL, Cash accounting and corporate submissions.

• Coordinate and support the execution of activities related to internal and external audit requirements.

• Provide periodic internal and external reports and support ad hoc data request from management or markets.

• Responsible for compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level agreements (SLAs).

• Ensure robust compliance environment with SOX, internal controls, accounting policies and procedures.

• Daily cooperation with other local accounting teams, Tech support, TAX department and Global Treasury Team.

• Work closely with Treasury Front Office and Treasury Cash Management team to resolve discrepancies, issues and queries in a timely manner.

• Perform and support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities for Treasury accounts including completion of the progress on clearing bank transactions, bank account reconciliations, posting to GL, Cash accounting and corporate submissions.

• Ensure appropriate currency forecasts to allow payments.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Finance / Accounting

• 1-2 years’ experience working in accounting positions

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP)

• Solid knowledge of MS Excel

• Fluency in oral and written English
