We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of our hybrid cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. This role is critical in ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of Zywave’s cloud-native and enterprise applications.
Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.
Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments.
Monitor cloud environments for performance, cost optimization, and compliance.
Implement and manage cloud networking, IAM, and resource provisioning.
Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis.
Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and recommend improvements.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, Azure VMs, Azure Functions, Azure Networking).
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Expertise with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and cost management.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS, EKS).
Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.
Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog).
Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Mandatory: Git, AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Networking (DNS, Firewall), Bash
Good to Have: Azure, CloudWatch, Prompt Engineering
Domain Knowledge: Insurance domain exposure preferred
